Christianity in a Globalist World

As the world we live in becomes more global, both in the workplace and social interactions, it is becoming more difficult to be a Christian. The world is not necessarily comprised of those who know and love the God of the Holy Bible. In fact, the name of Jesus causes more of a negative reaction that that of honor and praise. In the United States of America, Christians are tagged as nationalists who are racist and close minded. This is not factual, but it is the narrative in mainstream media and social media ideologies.

Globalism, at its most basic core principle, depends on a mindset that all people should have acceptance in any space. This is a nice idea, but it is not at all possible. Bias, religious beliefs and stereotypes that can guide our decision-making processes. I will take a stance and say that these things are not all bad. We need to have a standard to base all things on; both good and evil. For a Christian, that standard is Jesus Christ and His Word bound in the Holy Bible.

Globalism wants a Christian to overlook ideals that you may never give thought to such as other beliefs, religion, or standards, particularly when it is against Godly principles. A globalist employer will threaten your income via your job. Other beliefs will try to guilt you by saying their religion is one of peace, when it is truly not. Social media bullies will try to whittle down a Christian using judgement against us, manipulating the true definitions of love and union as God ordained them to be. The internet is a great source for globalists to use to bend the mind and thoughts of a Christian to be more accepting and ignorant of the truths behind their motives. Inclusivity is not a plug and play aspect in God’s realm. One must repent of sin, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and reject sinful living to have relationship with the Loving and Gracious God of creation.

I am going to leave you with a few scripture references for you to apply to your consideration of the above. God does not expect His followers to be become like the world. May Holy Spirit light your narrow path!

Peace, Rev. Rico

Hebrews 7:26: 26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, [a]harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

1 John 2:15: 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 3:1: Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of [a]God! Therefore the world does not know [b]us, because it did not know Him.
